Travel Route
Bareilly airport lies about eight kilometres from the hotel, with a few domestic routes to major Indian cities. Delhi's international airport is roughly two hundred and fifty kilometres away, around five hours by road, and many travellers combine a flight to Delhi with a train to Bareilly.
Bareilly Junction, about six kilometres away, is on the main line between Delhi and Lucknow, with express trains taking around four to five hours to Delhi. Izzatnagar station, only about two kilometres from the hotel, serves some trains and is practical for early departures.
By road, Lucknow is about two hundred and fifty kilometres to the southeast, and Nainital in the Kumaon hills around one hundred and forty kilometres to the north, a popular weekend escape. The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, around sixty kilometres away, offers jungle safaris in season.
The hotel arranges taxis and car rentals, which is the most comfortable way to reach the sights in and around the city. For short trips, e rickshaws and auto rickshaws are everywhere and cheap, with fares agreed in advance.
Traffic in the old city can be slow and dense, especially in the late afternoon. Visits to the dargah and the bazaars are easier in the morning, while the highway toward Nainital is best started early to avoid heavy trucks.
